Books about Java Written by Frank Delporte

Books written and edited by Frank Delporte: Java Programming for Raspberry Pi, and the community-written Sustainability for Java Developers.

Writing a book is the best way to truly understand a subject. Both titles below grew out of that idea, and both keep getting updates.

Java Programming for Raspberry Pi is a hands-on guide to electronics and IoT projects with Java, JavaFX and Pi4J. It was originally published by Elektor as Getting Started with Java on the Raspberry Pi, sold out completely, and is now self-published as an ebook and a printed book. The projects in it use the same techniques as our home automation dashboards.

Sustainability for Java Developers is a free, community-written book about energy-efficient software, created together with Java Champions, architects and technical writers from the Foojay community, the same community behind the Foojay Podcast.

Both books are part of a much longer list of articles and books written by CodeWriter.
