Every project below started with the same question: how do we make something complex easy to understand and easy to use? Sometimes the answer is software, sometimes it is documentation, and often it is both.
Writing and documentation. Technical documentation is at the core of what CodeWriter does, for projects like Pi4J and for company products. That same work also results in articles and books, and in the two books we published.
Java and JavaFX applications. The HMI training application is used by thousands of train drivers, MelodyMatrix turns MIDI music into live visuals, and our home automation dashboards run on a Raspberry Pi. Several parts of these applications are available as open-source libraries.
Community and multimedia. CodeWriter produces the Foojay Podcast and maintains the Links Of The Week and video interviews for JFX Central.
